A few days ago, I felt it was time to swing by Taste Beverage after work and pick up some goodies. I track the new releases they get about once a week, and I felt that there was enough there to warrant a decent shopping trip. I will vent that I hate the way the depot is set up. You really need a parking attendant to charge to park over there? Really? I personally didn't think there was enough out that way to warrant the need to have someone there at all times. It's a pain to deal with sometimes, but I guess I'll get over it. Enough of my rants, here's the haul:
- Sierra Nevada devESTATEtion Ale - What else is there to say except for the fact that it's Sierra Nevada? According to the bottle, they had different plans but some bad weather changed that. Instead, here's a black ale or black IPA. I'm not complaining. Price paid: $7.99
- Fullsteam Hula Hoop Rye IPA - It's not often that Fullsteam has a 22 oz offering, so I picked it up when I found it. I had to pick one up that was refrigerated, which means that I drank it soon afterwards (and knowing how I roll, you'll see a review in about 6-8 weeks). Price paid: $5.49
- Sweetwater Dank Tank Red Hot Mama - Just a couple of weeks ago, I found The Price Is Wrong, and now Red Hot Mama is already out. Just confirms that I think I was unlucky to have not found The Price Is Wrong until a few weeks ago. Price paid: $6.99
- Heavy Seas Imperial Greater Pumpkin - Imperial pumpkin beer aged in barrels. Doesn't that sound interesting to you? It does to me! Sign me up. Price paid: $8.99
- Terrapin So Fresh & So Green Green - I missed out on this one last year and I was glad that there was another iteration of it out this year. I wasn't going to miss this opportunity. I probably better drink this one sooner rather than later though. Price paid: $7.99
